Body
composition measurements performed at Baseline Fitness
using the Bod Pod.
Significant increases in strength have accompanied increases in lean mass (i.e.,
+30 lbs bench press; +70 lbs squat in 3 – 4 months) in previously trained female
clients.
General
program design includes some or all of the following:
3 days per week of group weight training; aerobic exercise; Ab work
and/or ab class; a balanced high protein, rotating carb, low fat diet*; and
various nutritional supplements and/or supportive dietary programs. Additional
outside resources include a sports nutritionist (RD, LD, PhD) and/or sports
psychologist (PhD) when needed. Note that fat loss is sometimes much greater
than the change in scale weight.
These
data are provided for informational purposes only and with the permission of the
program participants. The various components of this program have not been
evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration and is not intended to treat, cure
or prevent any disease. One should consult their physician before consuming any
nutritional supplement or beginning an exercise program.
